Formerly known as The Darlington, Lofts at Twenty25 is a 623-unit high-rise apartment community located along Peachtree Road between Midtown and Buckhead in Atlanta. It was built in the early 1950s as one of the city’s first post–World War II residential towers for working-class residents. Under its current ownership, approximately 30% of the units are designated as workforce housing, with affordability restrictions in place for residents earning 50% to 80% of the area median income for at least 25 years. This approach allows the community to maintain long-term affordability while remaining financially sustainable in a high-opportunity, high-cost corridor. As one of the largest single-site mixed-income housing efforts in Atlanta, Lofts at Twenty25 reflects a broader strategy to preserve existing housing and prevent displacement.
